Lovely piece. One of the best gifts I ever gave myself was a month, alone, driving around the Southwest. This was before cell phone service reached the far outskirts and so, I was truly alone, in nature, visiting museums, and just being. I highly recommend it. The news will always find you but you need to revisit yourself from time to time.
